• IT'S ALWAYS A CONCERN - the way SOME parents PARK
  Yes, we're all in a rush in the morning and everybody is busy. WHERE YOU PARK YOUR CAR, MATTERS. TAKE THE TIME TO THINK, AM I PUTTING A CHILD'S LIFE IN DANGER? It is no doubt a concern around the vast majority of school establishments.

  Related to our earlier mobile app message, WE VERY MUCH ARE ENGAGED IN PROMOTING WELLBEING, FITNESS, walking to school SAFELY. Imagine the scene...children walking safely to school with their parents/trusted adult.
• BEAUTIFUL KS2 MASS TODAY - DETERMINATION
  Father Gerry led a beautiful service this morning - he mentioned a certain word and that word being...DETERMINATION.
• TODAY - NUMBER DAY - MARVELLOUS MATHS DAY
  It's a bit different in school today. YOU CAN DRESS US FOR MARVELLOUS MATHS - simply wear a numbered top or shirt (football shirt perhaps). TUESDAY FUN in school (again!).
• THANK YOU PTA - PRODUCTIVE COFFEE MORNING
  We had our first PTA COFFEE morning of the school year this week. THANK YOU to parents who were able to get to the morning event and have an informal chat (and drink or two). A very GOOD turnout indeed.
• IT'S SO BUSY at BERNARD'S!
  What a wonderful START to the school day with MATHEMATICAL FUN in the air - Mrs. MATHEMATICIAN O'Brien led a school assembly - it's about INSPIRING our young mathematicians.
• FIRE DRILL - WELL DONE CHILDREN
  The children walked sensibly out of the school building and lined up quietly on Friday - it was our termly safeguarding fire drill procedure.

  What an inspirational morning the children of St. Bernard's had with the COMMONWEALTH BOXING CHAMPION, Mr. Delicious Orie, in school today. He's an inspiration!
