  A BIG thank you and well done to all the children of Year 5. WONDERFUL WHITEMOOR LAKES 2026 is over! What a few days it was for our intrepid explorers. Many highlights indeed during the residential experience.
• PARENT CONSULTATION...on the BUSY school HORIZON
  We are looking forward to seeing parents on Wednesday 18th March (face to face) and Thursday 19th March (online). Please be mindful that class 'RR' arrangements are different (this is due to Miss Reely having family funeral arrangements).

  Please note that you can also find key dates in the Calendar section of our mobile app or on our busy school website. Note school closure days also - polling/voting day, Thursday MAY 7th - school INSET on Friday 8th May - school closed on these days.

  Knowing the term dates...it's IMPORTANT. It links to making sure your child is in school - very good to excellent school attendance makes a DIFFERENCE to your child's current and opportunities

  A MCAS correspondence was sent earlier this week to all parents concerned - NO Friday Board Club today after school.

  Note that the fabulous, marvellous, amazing, superb, wonderful...BOOK FAIR is in town next week - STARTS MONDAY at ST. BERNARD'S BOOK SCHOOL. Monday 2nd March 2026.
• WORLD BOOK DAY - Thursday 5th March 2026 - ST. BERNARD'S DRESSING UP (again!)
  THURSDAY 5th MARCH 2026...WORLD BOOK DAY NEWS! Children can come to school dressed as their favourite BOOK CHARACTER. Yippee! It's going to be WONDERFUL, FANTASTIC, EXCELLENT, SUPERB...dressing up FUN, FUN, FUN!

  A very busy morning indeed. It's a bit fresh outside, a little windy but it certainly doesn't dampen the hardened spirits of our Y5 adventures!
