• BRING IT ON BRUM - enriching community activities on the horizon
  Mr Richards and Mr White are running a taster day for 'Bring it On Brum' during the upcoming February half term 2023 at Bishop Challoner Secondary School (Kings Heath). Details are attached in the NEWSLETTER section of the school mobile app.
• SO MUCH GOING ON THIS WEEK in St. Bernard's...
  A busy start to a very busy week - the children were an absolute CREDIT this morning...reflecting on the words of Jesus - The BEATTITUDES. Words and rules for LIFE.
• NO CHAPLAINCY TEAM THURSDAY CLUB this week - THURSDAY 2nd February 2023
  Our spiritual CHAPLAINCY TEAM meet weekly on THURSDAY after school for CHAPLAINCY CLUB. Please note however that this week's session has had to be cancelled - it will NOT take place on Thursday after school.
• NO PE KIT for YEAR 5 on TUESDAY (tomorrow) - SCHOOL UNIFORM PLEASE
  Mr. Dalzell and Mrs. Bahakam want to remind children that SCHOOL UNIFORM SHOULD BE WORN TOMORROW PLEASE (Tuesday 31st January). The children are having a very special class Mass celebration at English Martyrs.
• YEAR 5D - POWERFUL ASSEMBLY INDEED!
  On such a poignant day as INTERNATIONAL HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE day, it's COMPLETELY NECESSARY to educate, educate, educate our children and REMEMBER and REFLECT on what happened. Key Stage 2 were wonderful this morning.
• EDUCATIONAL LEGAL TEAM 2023 - working in partnership with St. Bernard's - PUPIL WELFARE
  Birmingham Education Legal Team work in full partnership with educational establishments across the city. It's their job and they are required to process educational absence procedures. They issues penalty notices and fines accordingly.
• POWER of PRAYER - a time together as a family
  Prayer is an important way to experience God - it's about communicating with Him. By bringing our problems to God, or asking for forgiveness and help, we become close to Him. Prayer is powerful - we can speak to God in our family time.

  It's what they DO! It's how they MAKE a DIFFERENCE to ALL the children in St. Bernard's. THANK YOU to the PTA and a BIG THANK YOU to all PARENTS out there! There was SO MUCH ACTION in the school hall today.
• PTA NEWS...a HOP, SKIP and a JUMP DAY - FRIDAY 27th January 2023
  The children of ST. BERNARD'S will soon be HOPPING, SKIPPING, JUMPING, SKIPPING, HOPPING, SKIPPING, JUMPING and HOPPING - all takes place IN SCHOOL on Friday 27th January. A little bit of EXERCISE FUN that WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
