  Our school POPPIES go on sale today to children. The items being sold today and next week will raise money for the local Remembrance Legion Charity. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.

  A wonderful evening or reading, cookies and warm milk was held yesterday in St. Bernard's Catholic Primary READING School. Benjamin Zephaniah would have been most impressed!

  A very special day in St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School today - especially poignant with over 400 children and 30 staff members silent in solidarity - prayer and reflection.

  DON'T MISS OUT, DON'T MISS OUT, there's a READING NIGHT ABOUT (Thursday 10th November)! It's DEADLINE DAY for the STORY FORMS - get your REC, YEAR 1 and YEAR 2 story forms into school TODAY. The PTA reading crew are collecting the forms TODAY.

  It's not every day you get a GLOBAL POETIC SUPERSTAR phoning your school BUT Mr. Benjamin Zephaniah (poet, writer, lyricist, musician) actually PHONED this morning and spoke to staff. But why?
• DON'T USE THE STAFF CAR PARK ZONE! It's DANGEROUS!
  We ask that PARENTs do not let children walk into the STAFF CAR PARK zone. Some children have been spotted walking (and even running around) the staff car park area. THIS HAS TO STOP PLEASE. IT'S CLEARLY DANGEROUS.

  The St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School chess team played 'out of their chess skins' today - tremendous strategic effort!
• REMEMBRANCE in SCHOOL - REMEMBRANCE DAY ahead
  An important week in school. We will come together as a school family on the 11th November 2022 to think about the sacrifices many made. Mr. Foley will lead us in quiet reflection. It will be a poignant time for many around God's world.
