Our school POPPIES go on sale today to children. The items being sold today and next week will raise money for the local Remembrance Legion Charity. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.
'Remembrance honours those who serve to defend our democratic freedoms and way of life.'
We importantly unite across faiths, cultures and backgrounds to remember the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community from Britain, Commonwealth and beyond.
We are here because so many sacrificed their lives over the years.
At 11am today, St. Bernard's children and staff will gather, pray, and reflect in a few minutes of silence.
