Reception

Welcome to Reception!

This year the children will be taught by Mrs Quinn and Miss Reely with support from Mrs McCarron, Miss Parveen, Mrs McCarthy and Miss Hill.

We will work together in partnership with you to nurture and encourage the unique qualities of every child in our care so that we enable them to become active learners, with a curiosity for life, enthusiastically creating and thinking critically.  We will ensure that your children are provided with the best possible start to their primary education, enriching each individual child through playful experiences in a warm, safe and caring setting. Allowing our children to learn and explore freely enables them to develop personally, socially, emotionally, spiritually, physically, creatively and intellectually in order to flourish and reach their own true potential.

Christ is at the heart of everything we do and we place a strong emphasis on the religious, spiritual, moral and cultural development of all our pupils. By learning and understanding Jesus' teachings, we become closer to God by aspiring to be kind and caring individuals always striving to help others.

Our aim is to build strong foundations rooted in individual success and achievements as well as moral and spiritual development, nurturing those God given unique gifts so that ultimately our pupils can be successful, go on to be good and active citizens and be happy, curious lifelong learners.
