News Stories PROFESSOR GREENAWAY is AMAZED...so many FANTASTIC SCIENCE PROJECTS Yes, Mrs. Greenaway has been scientifically blown away by all the recent SCIENCE DISPLAY PROJECTS that have been brought into school. SUPERB SCIENCE going on at St. Bernard's Science Establishment! WOW! INCREDIBLE! BRILLIANT! NEWS, NEWS, NEWSLETTER SWAY...coming your way! TODAY! Please READ ALL ABOUT YOUR CHILD'S SCHOOL because it's IMPORTANT! Stay in the school loop - SO MANY KEY EVENTS AHEAD! Summer term 2, 2024. FRIDAY's edition - 21st June 2024 GOING TO BE WARM/HOT - next few days (the week ahead...) The weather forecast for the next few days is all about warm, warm, warm weather. Please make sure your child is prepared accordingly. Every little helps giving them a little bit more comfort in and around school. TEMPORARY TRAFFIC LIGHTS - STILL THERE! The 4-way traffic lights are still located outside school. Certainly not ideal! School has not be contacted or informed about how long the lights will remain there for. TRAFFIC DELAYS - PLEASE BE MINDFUL - TEMPORARY 4-WAY TRAFFIC LIGHTS They are still there! The TEMPORARY TRAFFIC LIGHTS, 4-WAY system that suddenly appeared yesterday. They caused a tremendous amount of disruption. PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF THE FACT THAT THEY ARE ALSO LOCATED NEAR THE ZEBRA CROSSING ZONE. PTA NEWS - PREPARING FOR SUMMER FETE - FRIDAY 21st JUNE - OWN CLOTHES (YIPPEE!) The PTA are in the process of preparing for the SUMMER FETE extravaganza...they have already sent out information to all the children/parents. Wear your OWN CLOTHES and bring in an ITEM for the HAMPER. REMINDER - THE BIG EUROS 2024 CREATIVE CHALLENGE! Yes, another reminder after the fabulous football continues...it's the BIG ST. BERNARD'S EUROS 2024 PROJECT CHALLENGE! WEATHER, WEATHER, WEATHER (items into school) Please make sure your child has a suitably sized water bottle when they are in school. They need to take it home also and make sure it is cleaned, washed thoroughly, and ready for the next day in school. A sun cap/hat can also be brought in. FANTASTIC MUSICAL FESTIVAL OCCASION 2024 "A MUSICAL TRIUMPH" were the words of Sir Andrew Lloyd Weber. Taylor Swift commented, "That's good enough for Wembley Stadium", and Ed Sheeran remarked that the St. Bernard's musical afternoon was, "A true musical journey" EXPECT DELAYS - 4-WAY TRAFFIC LIGHTS - THURSDAY 20th June We had no warning whatsoever but wanted to inform you that a temporary 4-WAY TRAFFIC LIGHT system has been put in place on the Wake Green Road (outside The Shires/near the KS1 playground gate entrance). Expect major delays when travelling.
