News Stories ADVENT week 3 - CHRISTMAS JUMPER & CHRISTMAS DINNER DAY So much to look forward to doing in St. Bernard's FESTIVE Catholic School. Please remember that your child can come to school on WEDNESDAY 18th December in a JAZZY, COLOURFUL, SPARKLY, FUN, HO! HO! HO! CHRISTMAS JUMPER. ADVENT week 3 - CHRISTMAS MASS on Wednesday 18th December 2024 As we prepare during this very special season of ADVENT, we look ahead to our final school MASS of 2024. It takes place on WEDNESDAY 18th December 2024. The staff team will be leading this very special Christmas Mass for the children. ADVENT week 3 - CHRISTMAS KS2 performance - FRIDAY 20th December 2024 We end our very special term on FRIDAY 20th December 2024. How time flies when you are having fun and work in a busy school! KS2 lead us on Friday afternoon. Come along and listen to their carols. ADENT - Friday NEWSLETTER TIME (so MUCH KEY INFORMATION to READ) Please take the time to READ through it and know what's going on in your child's school. SUCH A BUSY TIME INDEED! WELL DONE to Rec, Y1 and Y2 - MAGNIFICENT NATIVITY PERFORMANCE It certainly was a sight to behold! The Reception and Key Stage 1 children in all the NATIVITY attire today. They finished with a crescendo of vocals...it was a WONDERFUL end to a very special festive week. THE GREAT BIG CINEMA OUTING 2024 - Monday 16th December 2024 We're off to the cinema! Doing it different at St. Bernard's...it's MOANA 2 on Monday. YIPPEE! ADVENT week 3 - NO AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS next week A reminder that there are NO AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS next week (final week). KIDZONE (external provision) of course takes place BUT ALL OTHER CLUBS WILL NOT TAKE PLACE. NO CHOIR CLUB after school - Thursday Apologies for the late notice but there is NO CHOIR after school today. The children performed to an incredible standard today singing in the community. Well done to every single one of them. WOW! WELL DONE REC, Y1, Y2 If you were there yesterday afternoon, you would have been so impressed. Wonderful NATIVITY story performed by our children. LOOKING OUT FOR THOSE IN GREAT NEED Advent leading to Christmas. A season of peace and goodwill to one and all. For some though, it can be an extremely lonely and sad time. We must keep all people and all communities in our daily prayers.
