In KS2 assembly this morning, on the Feast of the Holy Rosary, KS2 children shared the qualities of Mary, the Mother of Jesus. We talked about how we can be kind to each other and show compassion.
The children also found out a little bit of information about John Henry Newman because the Church are canonising him later this week on 13th October in Rome. It will be a very special occasion. He was a man full of kindness and compassion.
We have challenged all of the KS2 children in assembly to be more of a role-model and faith-model this week. We hope you notice.
Please spend time this week to say a family prayer to pray for John Henry Newman and say a Hail Mary together. Family time is so important and prayer can be a focal point for family.
