    The bigger picture...

The internet is a wonderful tool for learning but can also bring serious dangers with it to our children. We are seeing cases of children being adversely affected by the online world:

    • Children spending too much time online
    • Children showing signs of addiction to games and other things online
    • Negative impact of social media
    • Being exposed to inappropriate content
    • Playing games that are not appropriate for children

We all have a responsibility to make sure our children are safe online. We have online safety lesson threaded through our RHE and Computing curriculums and take part in initiatives such as internet safety week etc. but we need to be constantly aware of the dangers that the internet can bring. Every month we will be sending out a really helpful online safety newsletter that focuses on different elements of online safety. If you have any questions or worries about online safety then please come in and speak to us.
