A HUGE thank you to our resident pianist Mrs. Czepial and our resident choir master Mrs. Byrne for leading COMMUNITY SINGING today. The children visited the residential home of Ashley Lodge - it's a partnership we have had for nearly 15 years!
It was a beautiful, reflective and uplifting experience - an emotional one as well. The children were an absolute credit to the school and their families.
It was quite an experience seeing the children present live simply Christmas cards to each pensioner (made by children throughout the school).
Sometimes you don't realise the difference carol singing can make...some of the residents were crying and one commented, "You have made my Christmas children"
A different morning and one that will long in the St. Bernard's memory!
