The school will allow parents to pick children up at 1pm on MONDAY 18th July IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DO THIS. It is an OPTIONAL PICK UP time and you MUST make your way to the main school RECEPTION area where TA's will meet and greet parents.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS IS OPTIONAL OF COURSE AND IS DUE TO THE PREDICTED EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS on MONDAY 18th JULY.
Y4 ARE OUT AT ST. CHAD'S so it's the usual pick up time for Y4 please. Sensible school uniform attire Y4 but you do not need to wear school jumper or cardigan.
Children can wear PE KITS to school on Monday and Tuesday.
Children will need sun hats/caps (we are aiming to keep children inside however during breaks/lunches or sit them in the shade). The air-conditioned ICT suite will be used at different times also.
DRINKING WATER - don't forget your suitably sized water bottles!
FINALLY, we are timetabling some fun swimming sessions for Y3 and Y5 for the next few days. PLEASE CAN Y3 and Y5 children bring their swimming kit attire (towel/trunks/costume/flipflops). The PORTABLE swimming pool sessions, led by QUALIFIED INSTRUCTORS, have been A HUGE SUCCESS so far...what a refreshing week to take a refreshing dip in the refreshing school pool! REFRESHINGLY REFRESHING!
Please be sensible over the next few days and rest assured, we will be doing our very best to keep all the children as cool as can be - indoor breaks, shade if necessary, water breaks, ICT suite air-conditioned sessions, optional early pick up times on Monday 18th July, cancelled sports day events etc.
See you bright and early St. Bernard's - DON'T FORGET THAT YOU HAVE THE OPTION ON MONDAY 18th JULY TO PICK YOUR CHILD UP AT 1pm (go to the main reception area please if you are doing this).
