TRANSITION DAY in ST. BERNARD'S - please note the following

    6 July 2022 (by admin)

It's a 'kind of different day' in school today, WEDNESDAY 6th July. We are calling it 'moving on up day' and 'transition day' for our wonderful children. THEY MEET, GREET and have LESSONS with their new teacher (new teaching face).

So it will feel a little different in St. Bernard's because your child will be getting used to their new teacher, new classroom etc.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE, WE WANT CHILDREN TO BE DISMISSED FROM THEIR NEW EXIT POINTS AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL DAY...

This will be different for the following classes - if your child is currently in RECEPTION, they will be DISMISSED FROM THE KS1 PLAYGROUND (Y1 classroom areas). Simply make your way up the path to the KS1 playground zone.

Also, if your child is currently in Y2, they be dismissed from the KS2 playground zone. You will have to pick your child up from the top playground. Simply walk further up the Wake Green Road and you'll see the KS2 entrance gates and playground.

It should be an interesting end of day dismissal at St. Bernard's but it's all part of your child learning a slightly new routine, moving on, moving up...TRANSITION DAY.

It's a 'one off' different day. See you later St. Bernard's.
