BUSY AS EVER - so much going on and MAKING a DIFFERENCE

    19 May 2022 (by admin)

The term finishes next week (27th May) - time goes by so fast. It continues to be a very busy time at St. Bernard's...

We have our wonderful RH children (REC) lead their class assembly 20th May, Friday morning at 9.15am.

We have our wonderful PTA reps organising the forthcoming DISCO FEVER week - 'get down on the dance floor and groove!' - details already sent out (they take place next week)

We have OUR WONDERFUL HOLY COMMUNION CANDIDATES ready to receive the special SACRAMENT of the EUCHARIST - Saturday 21st May at English Martyrs Church. KEEP THEM IN YOUR FAMILY PRAYERS.

    And...

We have had sports events galore this week with children representing the school in various tournaments: cricket, tag-rugby and athletics.

    And...

We had a very special visit to a local synagogue this week (Y3) - the children loved the experience finding out about other faiths. It's what we are about - love and respect.

KEEPING IT BUSY at ST. BERNARD'S 2022.

One more thing...QUEEN JUBILEE DAY is on Monday 6th June - keeping it RED, WHITE and BLUE at St. Bernard's...start thinking about what you will wear! Picnic fun at school (fingers crossed for lovely weather).

One more thing...NEXT WEEK on FRIDAY 27th MAY, school breaks up at the end of the school day for the half-term break. Don't forget!
