Again we are asking for a common sense and safe approach - DO NOT USE THE STAFF CAR PARK AREA. Unfortunately, a handful of parents are choosing to deliberately ignore this and use the school premises.
There was an incident last week when a car nearly hit a child and again this morning we have had to speak to some parents - THERE IS NO NEED TO USE THE STAFF SCHOOL PARKING AREA. You are putting children/adults at GREATER RISK.
What will it take for this to stop? An accident? A serious incident involving a child? It is unacceptable and completely unnecessary.
Again, we ASK ALL PARENTS, and yes of course we realise it is a little inconvenient parking further from school and walking your child SAFELY to St. Bernard's...PLEASE DO NOT USE THE SCHOOL PREMISES TO DROP YOUR CHILD OFF. It might be easier for certain parents to use the school staff car parking area (as it would be for the 275+ St. Bernard's families we have) but it is UNACCEPTABLE.

Park a short distance from school, walk your child safely to the school gates, handover takes place SAFELY between 8.45am/9.00am.
