What a tremendous week in school...topped off with an AMAZING, FUN-PACKED, LAUGHTER-FILLED, AMUSING, CHUCKLESOME and SMILEY WORLD BOOK DAY EXTRAVAGANZA!
The children continue to be an absolute credit to the school.
A week where we smiled together, laughed with each other, congratulated each other and had some fun (even the odd dance in assembly!).
A week where we started LENT and promised that we would JOURNEY with God and deepen our understanding of God.
A week where we reminded ourselves that there are FAR MORE GOOD, DECENT, LOVING, WARM-HEARTED, AFFECTIONATE and CARING PEOPLE in the world than people who do the wrong things.
A week where our school community collected 60 (yes 60!) heavy bags of donated clothing - going to the British Red Cross Ukraine appeal.
A week where we counted an ASTONISHING £3,331.00 amount for the school read-a-thon 'READ FOR PLEASURE' initiative.
A week where we are already looking forward to next week...(PTA film nights, online consultation meetings, week 2 of our LENTEN journey etc.)
A week where we can say...we tried to make a difference!
