Welcome to the special season of LENT. Ash Wednesday started our very special school journey and the children were an absolute credit during morning Mass.
We invite you to journey with us this LENT - journey through prayer, family prayers and loving time together.
It is a HOLY SEASON, an invitation from God to return to him, to deepen our understanding of him and JOURNEY with Him in our hearts.
Our school LENTEN PILGRIMAGE will take us through fasting, repentance and almsgiving. It will challenge us (and so it should!) but TOGETHER, we can MAKE a DIFFERENCE and be closer to God.
PRAYING together as a tight school family (and home family unit) will bring us CLOSER to God.
Our LENTEN FASTING will be a sign of our sorrow - an act of willingness to turn to God.
Our ALMSGIVING will be a sign of our gratitude and through our GIVING, we show MERCY.
We invite you all to JOURNEY with all the children as a school community.
JOURNEYING TOGETHER deepens in us all a LOVE for ONE ANOTHER and a LOVE for GOD.
