FRIDAY - PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL TODAY - WEATHER ALERT!

    18 February 2022 (by admin)

It's in the NATIONAL NEWS so you will be more than aware that STORM EUNICE is currently affecting parts of the UK. PLEASE BE EXTRA VIGILANT!

NOTE THAT CHILDREN WILL BE INDOORS AT ALL TIMES FOR BREAKS AND LUNCHTIME DURING THE SCHOOL DAY. PE SESSIONS WILL TAKE PLACE INDOORS.

WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT ALL CHILDREN GET PICKED UP AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL DAY BY AN ADULT.

YOU MUST BE AWARE THAT EXTREMELY STRONG WINDS CAN CAUSE DEBRIS/SIGNIFICANT DISRUPTION AND POSSIBLE DAMAGE TO BUILDINGS etc.

West Midlands travel have advised that significant disruption and cancellations will occur on public transport across the region (especially from lunchtime onwards).

The Met Office has issued an AMBER warning with winds expected at 60mph/70mph by lunchtime. Again, it's about being AWARE.

PLEASE BE EXTRA VIGILANT TODAY - WEATHER WARNINGS LIKE THIS ARE UNUSUAL SO THEY MUST BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY.
