THANK YOU - what an eventful and enjoyable term!

    17 December 2021 (by admin)

As 2021 comes to an end, it has indeed been a very challenging and yet enjoyable St. Bernard's term. A very eventful, fun, creative term and the St. Bernard's children never let you down - they are a real CREDIT to you all.

We hope you all have a restful and peaceful festive break and we really hope you all manage to stay safe during what continues to be an uncertain time because of covid. It's been exceptionally difficult to manage 'day to day' from an operational point of view but your daily support and partnership continues to be invaluable.

We also know how incredibly difficult it is for families to navigate through the current ever-changing national situation - difficult times indeed and people are understandably anxious etc. Staff are parents themselves and we fully understand the pressures on family dynamics trying to manage family-life, education, illness, finances, attendance issues and covid. It's certainly not an easy path. We appreciate your ongoing partnership, challenge and support.

Rest assured, behind the school scenes we are working hard thinking about next term - let us hope educational establishments return as normal. That is what we all want and that is what the children need.

We have sent correspondence to all parents regards our online learning platform just in case it's needed - DB Primary. We are sending login details for individual children in case they're needed. We are making sure staff are available for contact via year group emails in case it's needed. We're planning ahead and thinking strategically because we need to plan accordingly for the benefit of your child.

School term starts again on WEDNESDAY 5th January 2022.
