COVID VARIANT - it's in the NEWS

    15 December 2021 (by admin)

It continues to be an uncertain time and an ever-changing situation with the new covid variant strain. Please make sure you adhere to the latest guidance which is readily available on the NHS and Government websites.

We continue to do our very best in school managing the situation and making sure the children really enjoy the final few days of the school term. They children have been completing various class advent activities, been enjoying class Christmas party events and have enjoyed a Riverside theatre performance this week - the wonderful Christmas gift of Jesus. Year 1 led a beautiful year group Mass this morning - peaceful and meaningful. The meaning of Christmas is still very much at the forefront of what we are doing in school - it's what we are about at St. Bernard's!

Tomorrow is Christmas GROTTO PTA day. Another fun event for the lovely children in our care. Thank you to the PTA team (again).

One more thing, can we remind you...IT'S IMPORTANT

PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD INTO SCHOOL IF THEY HAVE SYMPTOMS. This helps safeguard the pupils and staff in our care. KEEP US INFORMED and in the know at all times.

The following NHS link will give more clarity on the situation.

Educational establishments up and down the country continue to manage accordingly under very difficult operational circumstances. We will keep you posted accordingly.

Stay in the know please and make sure guidance is followed.

Thank you for your continued support, understanding and cooperation.
