ATTENDANCE MATTERS - CONGRATS YEAR 3 (again)

    13 December 2021 (by admin)

Year 3 won the ATTENDANCE CHAMPS last week with an attendance of 97.5% - well done YEAR 3...extra break again for you.

Whole school attendance for last week was just under 92%.

    REMEMBER, school attendance matters.

This week we will be sending out more attendance letters so you can be informed regards your child's ongoing ATTENDANCE statistics. If your child's attendance is 90% or below, we want you to be in the know.

Please note also that requesting long-term absence during term time is not authorised by the Head Teacher. We have had families ask for several weeks (even months) and the Birmingham Authority Education Legal Team will take appropriate action as and when they deem necessary.

ATTENDANCE MATTERS - keep a spotlight on your child's attendance.

We are a Birmingham Authority SPOTLIGHT on ATTENDANCE school.

There are of course genuine reasons why children are off school for short periods of time - illness, covid-related issues, hospital, family bereavement etc. It's VITALLY important you keep us in the know and INFORM us.
