Unbelievable effort! It goes to show that hard work, having the right focus and a positive attitude can ALL have a tremendous IMPACT on a sporting fixture. SYNERGY at St. Bernard's! Superb combined effort!
The school football team held their heads HIGH post-match, after a hard fought and very (VERY) close contest against Ambrose Barlow school today.
After a recent heavy defeat, the TEAM competed confidently and managed a FANTASTIC 1 v 1 draw - huge improvement from the boys.
The team celebrated the result as though it was a convincing victory!
It certainly was a victory for not giving up and believing in team spirit and team character.
A credit to the school and priceless memories for all the boys!
BIG thank you to parents and staff members for coming along to support.
The 2022 season looks promising...
