    SAFETY DRILL in SCHOOL (LOCKDOWN)

    17 September 2021 (by admin)

What's it all about? What's a lockdown drill? IT'S ALL PART OF OUR SCHOOL SAFEGUARDING AGENDA AT ST. BERNARD'S...keeping your child safe and educating them about the importance of personal safety.

Mr. Foley conducted a safeguarding LOCKDOWN drill today (these safety drills take place in educational establishments up and down the country).

Children conducted themselves with absolute credit (it's what we fully expect really!).

School was checked (we call it our lockdown safety operation)  by senior management - children stayed in their classroom zones in silence (supervised by members of staff) and every single classroom zone/learning area zones, school kitchen zones, reception main office zone, car-park zone etc. are thoroughly checked. It's about locking down the school for safety reasons.

LOCKDOWN drill completed at St. Bernard's. WELL DONE CHILDREN.

Last week we conducted a fire safety drill, and today of course, LOCKDOWN.

    Keeping you in the know!
