    CORONAVIRUS GOVERNMENT UPDATES

    3 June 2020 (by admin)

Do not LEAVE HOME if you or someone you live with has any of the following: a high temperature, a new, continuous cough, a loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY KEY !

VISIT THE NHS & GOVERNMENT WEBSITES!

The St. Bernard's school website has LATEST NEWS/CORONAVIRUS UPDATES and it is good to familiarise yourself with the key information regarding coronavirus.

It is absolutely imperative that NO CHILD or ADULT should be in school if they have symptoms or you suspect they have symptoms. PLEASE FOLLOW THE ADVICE and ALWAYS THINK SAFETY FIRST. Remember that members of our St. Bernard's school staff will be here doing their very best with children in school and like many of you, some staff have been shielding, some staff are concerned about underlying health issues and will no doubt be very concerned about their family members at home. Again I stress the importance of protecting your child and family unit but also 'protect the staff who care for your child and lots of other children' - if you suspect a family household member has symptoms, act on the advice immediately! YOU MUST ALSO INFORM US.

We're all in this together and there needs to be complete TRUST and PARTNERSHIP over the next few weeks and months - we have a responsibility as  St. Bernard's school community to look out for one another and look after one another. Again, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact school.

Thank you for your full co-operation parents.
