  Our wonderful Y3 HOLY COMMUNION CANDIDATES celebrate another very special day today...in school Mass, they will be receiving HOLY COMMUNION again - this time in their school home, surrounded by their school family.
• Y1 & Y3 - PE DAYS & PE UPDATE NOTES - summer 2, 2024
  Some of the teaching staff want you to be aware that PE days have changed slightly. REMEMBER, your child can come to school, on their designated PE days, wearing a SCHOOL PE KIT. A SCHOOL PE KIT MUST BE WORN.
• WOW! SKY ARTS COMPETITION ANNOUNCEMENTS
  Recently, SKY ARTS had a competition for drawings/sketches of BIRDS. Some of our children entered this amazing national competition. SKY ARTS received over 1500 entries!
• SUMMER TERM ATTENDANCE 2024 - every day matters!
  We are always pushing the ATTENDANCE agenda because GOOD SCHOOL ATTENDANCE equals OPPORTUNITIES FOR LIFE! You MUST inform school if your child is absent/illness etc. (we know genuine illness can happen).
• NEW TERM starts Monday 3rd June 2024
  Time flies when you are having fun! The final half term of the academic school year commences Monday 3rd June.
• LOVELY HOLY COMMUNION CELEBRATION
  A wonderful way to start a holiday break...Y3 celebrated a very special HOLY COMMUNION weekend. It was such a special Sacramental Communion Mass, and the children all looked magnificent in their Holy Communion attire.

• GENERAL ELECTION - SCHOOL CLOSED - polling station
  The Prime Minister has announced that there will be a GENERAL ELECTION on Thursday 4th July 2024. St. Bernard's school received confirmation this morning, from the Electoral Services Team, that it will be used as a POLLING STATION for public voting.
• HOLY COMMUNION PRAYERS
  Please pray for our very special HOLY COMMUNION CANDIDATES. The children celebrate a most holy occasion on Saturday 25th May at English Martyrs Catholic Church.

  Yes, the final DANCING DISCO event takes place later today for our groovy Y5 and Y6 funky dancers. It really has been a different and most colourful DISCO AFFAIR this week! GET DOWN and BOOGIE ST. BERNARD'S!
