    • SCHOOL MASS - START OF YEAR CELEBRATION
      Father Gerry led the school family in celebrating Mass this week - a lovely time of reflective prayer focus, hymns and scripture readings.
    • ALLERGIES and MEDICAL NEEDS - IMPORTANT
      It's all about safeguarding children on the school site. We regularly send reminders to parents about medical needs/inhalers on site etc. Staff received training recently on asthma and pupil medical needs.

      Special day indeed at ST. BERNARD'S FITNESS SCHOOL - all children come to school dressed in their PE KITS - YES, ALL CHILDREN!
    • STATE FUNERAL OF QUEEN ELIZABETH II - Monday 19th September 2022
      No doubt you will be aware that King Charles III has approved an order for the state funeral of Elizabeth II to be a bank holiday - the declared date has been set for Monday 19th September 2022.

    • INSPIRE WORKSHOPS HAVE STARTED 2022
      Partnership with parents is absolutely KEY and we have now started our INSPIRE PARENT WORKSHOPS - they have all been timetabled to take place over the next few weeks. PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ATTEND because it MATTERS.

      This morning in school we met as a whole school family and were led in prayers by Mr. Foley - we dedicated our prayers to Elizabeth II. A sad time for the nation as a whole and for many millions around God's world.
    • RESIDENTIAL EXPERIENCES for Y5 & Y6 2022-2023
      The OUTDOOR RESIDENTIAL EXPERIENCE cannot be underestimated. Wonderful experiences for our children. Past pupils Y5 & Y6 children (ex-pupils) always comment on it being one of the main HIGHLIGHTS of the school year.

      Next week at St. Bernard's we are starting our LIVESIMPLY AWARD journey - it will be a community effort and it's all about thinking about other people, God's world and making a difference.

      The community of St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School expresses deepest sympathy to the Royal Family. Desperately sad news indeed on the announcement of Her Majesty's death.
