• BIKES ON THE SCHOOL SITE - cycling to school
  Some KS2 children have been bringing bikes on the school premises and locking them safely against the safety bike shelter railings (lower KS2 playground). Parents are allowing them to cycle to school - we support this if children stay safe!
• NEWSLETTER SWAY out TODAY, FRIDAY 26th MAY 2023
  The school children walked into school assembly with 'SIMPLY THE BEST' blasting out of the music speakers. It set the tone for a very special MESSAGE...BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE!
• BEAUTIFUL MASS - well done Y3 & Y6
  It was a very special Mass this morning as children journeyed with Christ in their lives. The Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist was dedicated to our Y3 HOLY COMMUNION children. A most treasured Sacrament as they continue their journey with Jesus.
• FINAL FEW DAYS - BREAK UP ON FRIDAY (return Monday 5th June)
  The holidays are on the busy school horizon - school BREAKS up for the holiday on FRIDAY 26th May (usual end of school day timings apply).
• RECEPTION SCRUMPTIOUSLY DELICIOUS - ice-cream MAKING FUN!
  Miss 'RASPBERRY flavour' Reely & Mrs STRAWBERRY flavour' Quinn are MAKING ICE-CREAM SUNDAES with the RECEPTION children tomorrow (THURSDAY YUMMINESS!). How exciting! Taste session galore!
• NO TUESDAY SCIENCE CLUB THIS WEEK
  Apologies for the inconvenience caused by the TUESDAY SCIENCE CLUB has had to be cancelled (Tuesday 23rd May). Mrs. Bahakam (Science Lead) wanted to give you as much notice as possible.
• DISCO FEVER at St. Bernard's 2023
  We have DISCO FEVER on the DANCING HORIZON at St. Bernard's GROOVING school. All about giving the children wonderful experiences and raising money with our PTA team.
• PEBBLES & ROCKS - RECEPTION YEAR GROUP REMINDER
  Can your child bring in some PEBBLES and small ROCKS? Can you help us in RECEPTION? We NEED them for our MONDAY fun...painting, painting, painting. A reminder from your RECEPTION STAFF TEAM.
• MONDAY 22nd MAY 2023 - Reception & KS1 DISCO
  The children can come to school in their DISCO ATTIRE. The dancing staff of St. Bernard's have said the RECEPTION & YEAR 1, YEAR 2 children can come to school in DISCO clothing.
• HOLY COMMUNION - please pray for our very special Y3 candidates
  It will be such a very special weekend for some of our Year 3 children as they receive the sacrament of Holy Communion for the very first time. A continuing journey with Christ at their side...
