    • 'ADIEU, ADIEU, PARTING IS SUCH SWEET SORROW'
      4680 days! WOW! That's pretty amazing really! Mrs. Kendrick has worked at St. Bernard's Catholic Family School for 4680 days (195 school days a year for 24 years!). Incredible really!

      Yes, it's that time of year for another FUN FRIDAY and today FRIDAY folks...it's the SUPER SUMMER, FANTASTIC FETE, EXCELLENT EXTRAVAGANZA! Yippee! FRIDAY 14th JULY 2023. TODAY!
    • BOUNCY CASTLE has BOUNCED off (due to the weather!)
      The SUMMER FETE EXTRAVAGANZA 'BOUNCY CASTLE' zone will obviously not take place outside because of the weather. Too risky I'm afraid, but...

      The SUMMER FETE SUNSHINE SHONE DOWN heavily on St. Bernard's today...SUMMER FETE SUCCESS (despite the weather's best efforts to rain, rain, rain, drizzle, drizzle, drizzle!).
    • SPLAT the TEACHER ATTACK! Now takes place in school on Monday/Tuesday
      The outside SPLAT the TEACHER zone has had to be rescheduled for Monday/Tuesday (due to the dreadful weather!). Apologies for that but it's just too wet, wet, wet outside for children to be lining up and queuing.
    • TODAY - ICE LOLLIES AVAILABLE after school (50p)
      Captain Crehan and her Year 2 shipmates are on the PIRATE MAST LOOKOUT for buyers after school. Do you fancy a delicious ice lolly to slurp on? If you do, then head to the Y2 playground after school and buy a pirate lolly for 50p.
    • SCHOOL ATTENDANCE CONTINUES TO MATTER
      We say it regularly BECAUSE IT'S IMPORTANT! IT MATTERS! When you receive your child's end of school year report (coming your way very soon!), please MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR CHILD'S INDIVIDUAL ATTENDANCE. What percentage is it?
    • Y1 WELLBEING CLUB has finished
      The WELLBEING after school club has now finished for the school year. This Y1 club has been extremely beneficial to children who have attended. Thank you to staff for being involved with this club and giving up their time to run it.
    • AHOY me Year 2 HEARTIES! It's PIRATE DAY TOMORROW!
      Year 2 shipmates are invited to COME ABOARD the YEAR 2 PIRATE DAY tomorrow, Thursday 13th July. Come dressed for PIRATE ACTION and PIRATE FUN! Shiver me timbers me hearties!
