Families with children due to start secondary school in September 2027 (i.e. those children born between 1 September 2015 and 31 August 2016), are now able to apply online for secondary school places.

The deadline for applications is 31 October 2026, and places will be offered on 1 March 2027.

All the information families need to make their applications is on the council website https://www.birmingham.gov.uk/schooladmissions  

The Council will be regularly sharing information about the application process on its social media channels throughout the application window. I would be grateful for your support if you could also help raise awareness of the process and the deadline.
