    CORRESPONDENCE, CORRESPONDENCE, CORRESPONDENCE

    7 January 2026 (by admin)

It's important to make sure you keep up with the school correspondence. As you will probably be aware, Storm Goretti is out and about and is expected to cause associated disruption up and down the country. Please make sure you check MCAS/or school app.

If, for whatever reason, school has to have an emergency closure because sometimes this does happen (usually related to extreme weather etc./or gas leak - health & safety reasons) we would notify you via MCAS/and the school mobile app. Thank you parents.

Mr. Foley would of course notify parents accordingly. Hopefully though, St. Bernard's school will not be affected, by the weather, later during the week.

    MET OFFICE Thursday:

A cloudy start on Thursday with patchy rain and drizzle. Turning increasingly unsettled later as Storm Goretti arrives, bringing heavy rain and snow, especially through the evening and overnight. Maximum temperature 5 °C.

MET OFFICE Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Rain, sleet and snow clearing eastwards through Friday. Brighter and drier on Saturday with frost early and late. Cold start with further rain, snow and strong winds arriving later Sunday.
