Parents’ evening guidance – October 2025

We are looking forward to welcoming parents to school on Wednesday for consultations and meeting those who have made online appointments on Tuesday.

To be fair to all parents it’s really important that we stick to timings, please be on time for your appointment and stick to your 10 minute allocated slot. If you need further time to discuss something then please speak to your child’s teacher to arrange an alternative time.

Following feedback provided by parents we will again be making all books available to be looked at on the same night as the face to face parents meeting. All books for years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be available to look at in the school hall. Reception journals will be available in the top hall.

Because the hall is in use for parents to look at books we have limited space to provide supervision for any child attending with parents. For this reason, we are asking parents without childcare and attending with children, to take their child into the teacher consultation with them. If parents need to talk to the teacher privately then there will be limited supervised space in our Oaks provision for children to wait and watch a film.
