We have the very special gathering of the CONCLAVE in our hearts and prayers. This is taking place in the Vatican City State. We have been talking to the children about this most symbolic and important event. The Cardinals are in our thoughts and prayers.
We held a very special whole school assembly to start the school week off. We said prayers together and the children have also been finding out what the CONCLAVE is and what it means.
With the passing of Pope Francis, let us pray for the eternal repose of his soul and for the College of Cardinals as they embark on their sacred duty to elect the successor of Saint Peter.
Father Most Holy,
Our God and King,
Protect Your Church in this time of transition.
Guide the Cardinals in their sacred duty.
Grant them Wisdom and Courage,
Hope and Charity,
and the Faith they need to discern Your Holy Will.
May Your holy will be done,
now and forever.
Amen.
