Wonderful WHITEMOOR LAKES for Year 5 explorers starts WEDNESDAY 21st February...YIPPEE! The children are sooooooo excited!
The children have had several meetings and are WHITEMOOR LAKES cued up and clued up, ready and steady...to go, go, GO!
Children MUST come to school at the usual 8.30am/8.45am time on Wednesday. They DO NOT need to wear school uniform. They should be WHITEMOOR CLOTHING READY!
Children MUST bring their luggage/suitcase into the lower school hall between 8.30am/8.45am (luggage drop off zone). Follow the guidance in the kit list suggestions please. Suitable clothing for the 3 day residential (indoor/outdoor footwear, toiletries, towel, spare black bags, clothing for variable weather, night time wear etc. etc.)
Any MEDICATION MUST BE HANDED OVER TO STAFF - the Y5 staff team will be taking any medication, recording medical needs/prescription needs etc. This is IMPORTANT! They will write it all down and record any medication handover.
Year 5 children going to Whitemoor on Wednesday 21st will need to bring a packed lunch with them. We are having a picnic when we get there, before we explore the residential sights!
Children cannot bring sweets or mobile phone recording devices. Please make sure NO sweets are placed in luggage. This is important!
WHITEMOOR allow spending money of between £5 and £10 (NO MORE!). It is your choice between this monetary amount.
Staff will of course TWEET, TWEET, TWEET different activity scenes from the Y5 Whitemoor residential. Please get on the school TWITTER and check out the all action pictures.
Children will return to the delights of St. Bernard's school on FRIDAY 23rd February. Pick up point will be the upper/lower school hall zone. The coach will pull up outside St. Bernard's at approximately 3pm. ALL luggage (and children) will go into the main school hall, and then parents CAN TAKE THEIR CHILD FROM THE SCHOOL HALL (with luggage of course!). Please be patient. Friday traffic may of course be a delaying issue. We will keep you posted.
