It certainly is NOT IDEAL and is a concern. The temporary CROSSING AREA outside school is being monitored by the building site contractor (development of residential building on the Wake Green Road). We have passed on our safety concerns.
For a certain amount of time, start of school day/end of school day, the crossing area is being patrolled and children/parents are being helped cross the road by the building company maintenance staff.
Please continue to be EXTRA CAREFUL because it is certainly not ideal having temporary road traffic lights and a temporary pedestrian crossing area next to each other.
