It is INTERNATIONAL DAY of WOMEN & GIRLS in SCIENCE, and we have been celebrating this momentous day by talking about female scientists in morning assembly.
Our very special science ambassadors talked about SCIENCE and the importance of FEMALE SCIENTISTS (past and present).
Our assembly also had a very SPECIAL GUEST appearance from a METEOROLOGIST (one of our school parents).
The children were an absolute credit and asked several questions - they wanted to find out more, more, more about this fascinating area of science.
