A multi-faith or a multi-cultural society is where lots of different faiths live side-by-side. Living alongside people with different religions and traditions is a wonderful experience and we are extremely fortunate at St. Bernard's that God's richly diverse world is represented within our school and wider local community. A multi-faith society can also face many challenges when there is a lack of common understanding and ignorance, so it is important for people from different faiths to come together and engage in discussion in order to better understand one another.

St. Bernard's will be making the DIFFERENCE again this week when children learn about MULTI-FAITH. 

It will be mentioned in our school assembly tomorrow. We will also mention the importance of our drive to LIVE SIMPLY, 'Live simply so that others may live simply'

Mrs Pickles, our LIVE SIMPLY coordinator, challenges us to live in a way that allows us to give our excess gifts to others who need them more than we do. It's about volunteering more, praying more, donating more AND LOVING MORE, all for the good of other people.
