    ATTENDANCE STATISTICS for last week

    28 November 2022 (by admin)

The overall whole school attendance dipped slightly to 93.4%. Unfortunately, we have had quite a few children off with sickness related issues. Genuine absence related to sickness is perfectly understandable - it happens in school establishments.

If your child is well enough to be school however, then they should be. IT'S VITAL!
WE TELL YOU EVERY SINGLE WEEK...a low individual attendance significantly IMPACTS on your child's education and social/emotional intelligence and wellbeing - GOOD SCHOOL ATTENDANCE is SO IMPORTANT!

Year groups winning attendance extra break will be our YEAR 5 STARS! - combined approx 96% weekly attendance (good effort Y5). EXTRA BREAK for these classes/year groups - YIPPEE!
Don't forget to remind your teaching staff children - EXTRA BREAK beckons for our YEAR 5 children.
THE SCHOOL OFFICE MUST BE INFORMED OF ANY PUPIL ABSENCE.
WE ALSO WANT TO POINT OUT PUCNTUALITY ISSUES - SCHOOL TRANSITION IS BETWEEN 8.30AM AND 8.45AM - A 15 MINUTE WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY TO GET YOUR CHILD READY AND IN SCHOOL ON TIME. Good habits start at a young age. Every child should be in school on time.
We are in regular contact with the FAST TRACK ON SCHOOL ATTENDANCE team (including the Authority Education Legal Team) - any attendance that is an ongoing concern is followed up by the team and penalty notices issued.
