1st SUNDAY of ADVENT - St. Bernard's enters a very special time of preparation. 1st Sunday of Advent - CANDLE of HOPE. Preparing our hearts and minds for Christmas.
Advent for the this year 2022 starts and is celebrated/observed on Sunday, November 27th.
Our Advent school journey starts the season of preparation - the celebration of Christmas with the birth of Jesus Christ. Advent always commences on the fourth Sunday before Christmas.
We have many special and significant events planned over the next few weeks. Refer to the latest newsletter to get KEY dates in your busy family diary. Masses, Advent assemblies, Panto visit, Carols at Christmas with KS2, Christmas parties, Christmas dinner, Santa's magical PTA Grotto, Nativity production with KS1/Rec, class trips, sports fixtures...the list goes on.

As you are well aware, Mrs Humphreys also leaves St. Bernard's school soon after 32 years teaching. Miss Reely reception@st-bernards.bham.sch.uk wants your SMILEY stories of Mrs Humphreys.
