The FOOTBALL FEVER is here! It's the WORLD CUP 2022 - 32 footballing nations coming together to see who will achieve the title...WORLD CUP CHAMPIONS! At St. Bernard's we are KICKING OFF the event with a RED & WHITE celebration day on MONDAY 21st.
Children can come to school DRESSED in RED and WHITE. We are letting the children watch the ENGLAND game (if they so choose). We are providing a traditional 'fish n chip' (chip butty!) lunch courtesy of our footballing kitchen crew led by Coach McTernan. We will have WORLD CUP themed songs playing during the school day.
A little different but that's what we do! It's about giving the children memorable experiences in school.
AND...it's the start of our WORLD CUP PROJECT 2 week challenge! Your child can produce a WORLD CUP PROJECT (anything related to the WORLD CUP - on 1 country, possibly 2 or 3 countries! Culture, sport, language, art, fashion, food etc.). It's their HOMEWORK choice. MUST be worked on at home. To be handed into school by FRIDAY 9th DECEMBER.
All entries get a WORLD CUP CERTIFICATE - WOW!
Prize for most original & creative project - x1 for EYFS, x1 for KS1, x1 for KS2. Get thinking WORLD CUP FANS!
