OPEN EVENT - WELL DONE SCHOOL COUNCIL (made the difference today)

    3 November 2022 (by admin)

A BIG THANK YOU to our KS2 school council ambassadors today - they led the SCHOOL OPEN EVENT. St. Bernard's held a morning and afternoon OPEN EVENT today. AN IMPORTANT DAY.

St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School opened its doors to prospective parents - all about showing what we do, what we are about and how we aim to make a difference.

Our SCHOOL COUNCIL children led the way and showed parents the school premises, talked about the school, and answered questions about their school. It was an educational experience for the school council team. A learning curve for them all.

We firmly believe that children are what our school is all about - that's why it was our children being mini-teachers/mini-ambassadors today - THEY WERE AN ABSOLUTE CREDIT!

Prospective parents commented on the school environment, school ethos, school lessons...mainly commenting on HOW WONDERFUL THE SCHOOL COUNCIL TEAM were. They worked hard today...they were humble about it, and made us very proud.

Well done to the COUNCIL team. Big thank you to Mrs. Downing (school council staff lead).

If you know of any parent looking for a prospective school for their child, send them St. Bernard's way - they'll be most welcome to have a tour of the school, speak to the Head etc.
