SO MUCH GOING ON BEHIND THE SCHOOL SCENES...

    1 November 2022 (by admin)

A lovely Mass of celebration this morning led by Father Gerry - all about THE QUALITIES of the SAINTS - walking in their footsteps. Children were an absolute credit to the school and a BIG thank you to staff for leading the Mass readings.

The start of yet another busy, busy WEEK at St. Bernard's!

*OPEN EVENT takes place this week - Thursday 3rd November 2022 (for prospective parents...thinking about sending their child to our school).

*LIVE SIMPLY DAY CAFOD challenge on FRIDAY 4th November - the staff are being challenged to have a No Electricity Day in class (meaning NO smart boards, in theory NO USE of the photocopier etc. The only use of electricity would be doing the safeguarding register and travel tracker and then computers should be turned off).

All linked to our GOAL of teaching about SUSTAINABLE ENERGY SOURCES, including learning about why we should try to limit our electricity use. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BIGGER PICTURE for God's world.
Also behind the school scenes, we have our MUSIC TRACK of THE WEEK (Let It Be - The Beatles)
Also behind the school scenes, we have our WORD of THE WEEK ('ebullient' - meaning excited or enthusiastic)
Also behind the school scenes, we have our enrichment SCHOOL CLUBS starting again (check out the latest newsletter)
So much going on in YOUR SCHOOL.
